Fall Creek Heritage Fair
In 2026, we will host our 55th annual Fall Creek Heritage Fair, held each year on the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day in beautiful Falls Park along the banks of Fall Creek in the historic town of Pendleton, Indiana. This free-admission event is a central Indiana tradition that celebrates the arrival of autumn and promotes handmade arts and crafts along with a variety of food in a family-friendly environment.
In 2025, we hosted more than 150 artists and crafts people exhibiting their work to over 17,000 visitors. At the same time as the Heritage Fair in the park, the downtown merchants host Fall Festival which includes over 125 more vendors in the downtown streets and alleys adjacent to the park.

PENDLETON, INDIANA
Our Heritage Fair story began in 1971.
In 1971, a local craft fair was held as a special event for the Pendleton sesquicentennial celebration. The event was such a success that the committee formed as the nonprofit organization Century and a Half Club in order to continue this annual event, naming it Fall Creek Heritage Fair. In 2019 the club handed the event over to Friends of Falls Park. Since 1971, It has been a continuous event every fall with the exception of 2020 due to COVID 19 restrictions.
Even to this day, the fair is organized and run completely by volunteers. ALL profits from the Fall Creek Heritage Fair are used for park projects and events.
